Paul Chuckle thanks fans for their support as he returns to social media for the first time after brother Barry’s death
PAUL Chuckle vowed to carry on performing as he thanked fans for their support after his brother Barry Chuckle died aged 73.
The 70-year-old comedian, who makes up one half of the kids' favourites Chuckle Brothers, admitted it was hard to read the flood of sincere messages he's received following the devastating loss of his sibling and co-star.

Barry died on the 5th August after a short illness and Paul said he would have wanted him to continue entertaining, as he wrot on Twitter: "I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone for all your messages they've been hard to read but I read every one.
"Its the worst feeling ever but I have to carry on as I know Barry would want me to having always been so supportive of each other in both work and our personal lives."
Fellow entertainer Les Dennis summed up fans' sentiment when he replied to Paul and said: "@PaulChuckle2 There is so much love for you both."
The brothers had been performing as a duo for more than 50 years.

Earlier this year, the pair returned to the small screen with new show Chuckle Time on Channel 5.
Barry's illness came to light near the end of the show's filming, and Paul told PA was only aware how seriously ill Barry was "until fairly recently".
He added: "He always said that he wanted to die on stage and that he would work right to the end, which he more or less did."
The duo also have two older brothers Jimmy and Brian who are known collectively as the Patton Brothers and have starred alongside their siblings in their show ChuckleVision.

With a career spanning half a century, the Chuckle brothers have popped up in all kinds of shows.
Their career was launched by an appearance on the talent show Opportunity Knocks in 1967.
From 1996-1998 they presented the children's game show To Me, To You named after their signature catchphrase which was set on a desert island.

Following their inaugural performance, they featured on a number of other variety shows before securing their own show Chuckle Vision, the kids programme that made them famous.
The show was one of the longest running children's programmes on the BBC continuing for 22 years from 1987 to 2009.
They have made appearances in shows like The Weakest Link, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Celebrity Coach Trip.
