KATIE Piper has revealed how health problems will make Strictly Come Dancing a huge challenge.
The 34-year-old was left with life-changing injuries after a vicious acid attack 10 years ago.
While Katie is a confident author, presenter and mother-of-two, she admits she could be hindered by a number of factors on the dance floor.
She told : "The respiratory problem makes training a bit harder.
"I tried to practise some steps and can’t really move my head back because of a band of scar tissue that starts at the top of my head.
“Everyone will be like, ‘Why’s she pulling that funny face?’ and I’ll be like, ‘No, that’s my face!’”
However Katie isn't afraid of a challenge, especially considering at one time, she wasn't sure if she would ever walk again let alone dance.
She added: "I remember when my challenge was to walk without a walking frame."
In fact, her injuries aren't her biggest concern, as she admits her lack of rhythm could be what really holds her back in the competition.
She laughed: "I can't even clap in time."

But all joking aside, Katie is aware of the hurdles she will need to overcome in training such as the loss of peripheral vision in her left eye.
She explained: "It will be hard with my eyesight. If you cover one eye and think you can’t see your peripheral, that is harder with dancing, steps and anticipating your partner.
“I’m like an elephant with no rhythm. When I was practising I was stamping on feet and banging into people.
“I’ll just have to work really hard at the training.”
Thankfully the show will be a welcome distraction for Katie following the terrible news her attacker could be released in a matter of weeks.
Stefan Sylvestre, 30, was jailed indefinitely in 2009 for the acid attack, but parole officers confirmed to on Friday that a hearing has taken place to decide if he can be freed.
