BLUE'S Lee Ryan has been confirmed as the 12th celebrity to sign up to this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The singer, 35, admitted he was "nervous" as he discussed starring on the show on Loose Women earlier today.
Asked by the panel if he had any previous dancing experience having trained at prestigious performing arts institution Italia Conti, he said: "I used to run out of my dance lessons. So I am nervous.
"All we used to do in Blue is shake our shoulder a bit."
The presenters then asked him if, as a single man, he was relieved to be swerving the 'Strictly Curse'.
He replied: "I'm single I'm sweet."
The camera then panned to Lee's son Rayn sat in the audience who was asked how he felt about his dad appearing on the popular BBC dance show.
Hilariously, he said: "I've only seen his dad dancing."
The ex-EastEnders actor then revealed he had been trying to lose weight in preparation for rehearsals by going boxing.
He also said that he thought Ashley Roberts stood a good chance of winning the competition.
Lee was led out on the show in disguise before being revealed as the latest star to join the dance competition.
It comes after it was revealed that Lee was to follow in the footsteps of Blue bandmate Simon Webbe, who finished runner up when he appeared on the show four years ago.
A source told : “Lee will make great TV - he’s naturally charismatic and very funny."
The insider added the star, who has been dating a secret girlfriend for a year, was "totally unfazed" by the curse of Strictly.
Lee will appear on the hit BBC1 Saturday night show after leaving EastEnders earlier this year.
