But he's also a reality TV star having been on CBB and now appearing on Channel 5's Celebs On The Farm. Here's more.
Who is Ashley McKenzie?
Ashley McKenzie is a British Judo Champion from Queen's Park, London.
He has won seven gold medals representing Great Britain at various tournaments including the European Cup.
At the London 2012 Olympics he was defeated in the second round and at Rio 2016 he went out in the third.
However, he won gold at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and has two European bronze medals
He first got interested in judo aged 11 when he got into a fight with a boy who stole his Charizard Pokémon card.
He took part in Sky Sports' Mission Mudder which saw him along with sporting legends Jade Jones, Perri Shakes-Drayton, Jess Varnish, Aimee Fuller and Anthony Fowler.
When was Ashley McKenzie on Celebrity Big Brother?
In 2012 Ashley McKenzie took part in the tenth series of Celebrity Big Brother.
He made it to the final and finished fifth overall.
The series was won by comedian Julian Clary with television presenter Coleen Nolan coming runner-up.
He also featured in his own BBC documentary The Bad Boy Olympian which detailed his rise in judo and his battle with ADHD.
When is Celebs On The Farm on TV?
Ashley is appearing on Channel 5 show Celebs On The Farm.
It is a reboot of The Farm which aired for two series between 2004 and 2005.
For ten days the celebs will have to muck out cows, handle alpacas and perform other tasks.
Other celebs on the show include Ex On The Beach star Charlotte Dawson, actress Lorraine Chase, dancer Louie Spence and former Towie star Megan McKenna.
