Liam Payne cosies up to model Shanina Shaik before leaving VMAs with friends weeks after Cheryl split
The singer split from Cheryl after two and half years of dating, just over six weeks ago
LIAM Payne cosied up to Shanina Shaik at the MTV VMAs, weeks after his split from Cheryl.
The 24-year-old, who presented an award onstage with the model, posed for photos with the 27-year-old, before they headed to a glamorous after-party in the same car.
The former One Direction star first posed with Shanina backstage at the event.
The model looked incredible wearing a glittery semi-sheer jumpsuit.
Taking to his Instagram story, Liam then posted a clip of the pair and her friends dancing to Ginuwine's hit Pony, as they headed to their first after-party in the same car.
Addressing their saucy backing track, the cheeky singer joked in the caption: "Always with the sex jams... we just met!"
Later that evening Liam was spotted leaving another VMA’s after-party with a couple of female friends from his record label.
The singer, who performed with Rita Ora at pre-party, spent the evening club hopping with the tattooed woman, who he was spotted partying with in London last month.
They were first seen together having dinner at Sexy Fish in London with a few friends in July, not long after he announced his break up from the mother of his son Bear.
His evening out comes after The Sun revealed that he was dating Cairo Dwek.
Liam and Cairo were first spotted flirting at a party in Cannes, France last month and they followed that up with a romantic break in Italy, where they were spotted kissing at the Villa D'Este hotel in Lake Como.
A source told The Sun: "There's no doubt Liam and Cairo are more than just friends.
"They were kissing passionately with his hand wrapped around the back of her head and they obviously couldn't get enough of each other.
"They were walking around the hotel grounds hand in hand, he had his arm around her a lot and she had her hand on his bum. They're obviously massively into each other."
But Cairo was nowhere to be seen as he let his hair down following the ceremony.
The former One Direction singer was also seen looking cosy with supermodel Winnie Harlow.
Earlier in the evening Liam and Rita teamed up to perform their Fifty Shades smash hit For You.
Putting on a seductive display, the singers serenaded each other on stage as is their custom when performing the sensual song.
