David Beckham ‘becomes one of growing number to have a hair transplant’ as he looks to keep his world famous locks
DAVID BECKHAM’s hairstyles over the years have become global fashion sensations, so it’s no surprise he wouldn’t want to lose his very famous locks.
That’s why I’ve heard he has become one of a growing number of middle-aged men to undergo a hair transplant.
He has shown a new hairline after shaving off his thick locks on holiday in Asia, aged 43, a year after it seemed to be receding.
It appeared to be disappearing in June last year when he sported a slicked back hairdo.
But fast-forward to this June and his hairline appeared a lot straighter when he attended a reception at Buckingham Palace.
Coincidentally, earlier this year when he could have undergone the intense procedure, he was pictured several times wearing hats.
When I asked about the procedure this week, David’s spokesman said it “was a matter of privacy whether it’s false or true”.
I think that’s a bit of a disappointing approach.
When I went through an identical procedure at the Harley Street Hair Clinic in 2013 like Wayne Rooney, I was immediately open about it, even showing off the results on ITV’s Lorraine show.

There’s certainly nothing to be ashamed of.
After all, Louis Walsh, James Nesbitt and his best pal Gordan Ramsey have all had it done.
If Goldenballs has joined the club, it’s going to become even more socially acceptable.
