Who is Briony on Bake Off 2018?
Briony Williams, 33, is a full-time parent from London and one of the 12 contestants hoping to win the Great British Bake Off prize.
She has been baking since 2013 with the help of YouTube tutorials and has said her nan is her inspiration.
Her speciality is puff pastry and her creations are a weekly favourite with her husband and daughter.
She has created several wedding cakes and stunning, intricately decorated novelty cakes for friends and family.
Why did Briony apply to go into the tent?
Briony revealed she applied to be on Bake Off "for myself and to make my family proud".
And she said her university pals would be surprised to see her in the tent.
She said: "None of them have a clue. So that will be funny when they find out."

When is The Great British Bake Off 2018 on Channel 4?
The Great British Bake Off 2018 started on Tuesday, August 28, at 8pm on Channel 4 and continues at the same time each week.
Last year's series was won by Sophie Faldo who was an officer in the British Army's Royal Artillery.
Presenters Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig return as presenters, alongside judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice hosted by Jo Brand is on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
