Gemma Collins sobs as she dumps James Argent when he says he’ll ‘never love her like Lydia Bright’ in explosive first episode of Diva Espana

GEMMA Collins sobbed as she dumped James Argent after he said  he’ll "never love her like Lydia Bright".

The Towie star broke down in tears in heartbreaking scenes during the explosive first episode of her new reality show Diva Espana.

During the show, she flies out to Marbella to be with him but the romance soon starts to crumble.

Gemma, 37, is seen crying at her book launch as she reveals how hard it's been with Arg, who The Sun Online revealed is back in rehab.

She said: "It's really hard - because things ain't great with James.

"And it's not because of me it's because of him. It's f******hard. I have to keep going but I don't want to."

As their relationship reaches breaking point, Arg asks her to move out of the villa they are sharing because he wants to be alone.

He said: "I'm gonna take a bit of time for myself.  I'm sorry... I love you so much, I've gotta get myself sorted.

"I'm really struggling now myself. I don't know if this is right."

Gemma then move into a hotel and is later seen sobbing as she struggles to cope with being alone.

She struggles on but later realises she needs to end the troubled romance after a heart-to-heart with Chloe Sims.

During a day out on a boat, Gemma realises she's not happy and decides to dump Arg for good.

She reveals he told her he never loved her like he loved his ex Lydia Bright, 28, who he was with on and off since he was a teenager before they split in 2016.

She says: "He doesn't care that I'm his girlfriend... and the fact that someone says to me does it hurt that I'll never love you like I loved my ex-girlfriend.. like it took me to go out out in a yacht to talk this through. I ain't f****** about here...

"I'm not living another day in this circus - his circus."

Gemma then clears all her stuff out of the villa, including her £300 bedding and all the essentials she bought for the stay and trundling it away in a suitcase.

As she leaves, she declares: "This could have been a very happy home... There's no point in crying got to get on with it."

It comes as The Sun Online revealed that Arg has decided to book himself in for rehab treatment and will be taking a break from Towie in the meantime.

Gemma has vowed to stick by Arg despite their ups and downs.

Gemma and Arg’s roller-coaster romance has played out on screen for six years.

In July the couple split but decided to get back together shortly afterwards.

Gemma is standing by Arg as he works through this tough period in his life and their relationship troubles will continue to play out in Diva Espana.

A source told The Sun Online: “James was under a dark cloud recently and has made the brave decision to enter back into a programme to help him get back on track.

“He has been attending regular therapy and secondary care at an outpatient treatment facility in London.

“James told his family and friends he wouldn’t be starting filming with this series of Towie.

“He’s being supported by the show’s producers who have agreed he needs to take time out to focus on himself.”

Diva Espana debuts at 9pm on Wednesday August 29 on ITVBe.
