RYAN Thomas' former Coronation Street co-stars rushed to his defence on Twitter today, after Roxanne Pallett accused him of "punching her" in the ribs.
The actress requested Ryan receive a formal warning in the Celebrity Big Brother house last night, after he caught her a little too hard during a play fight.
Fans have since accused Roxanne, 35, of being "dramatic", with numerous even flooding Ofcom with complaints.
A number of Ryan's former Corrie's co-stars have now voiced their support for him on Twitter, with Simon Gregson even urging him to take legal action.
Ryan's representatives shared a Tweet that read: "It’s hard to see him being painted in such a light but truly thankful the footage is there for everyone to see. New low from Roxanne and a seriously dangerous games she’s playing."
Simon, who plays Steve McDonald on the soap, replied: "Can’t help thinking he could take legal action against both her and the show. Just a thought."
Brooke Vincent added to her own page: "I’ve just caught up on @CelebBigBrother I honestly can’t believe what I have watched.
"@ryanjamesthomas Is like a brother to me and to see someone try and manipulate a situation towards him is so cruel , unnecessary and dangerous on so many levels!! TEAM RYAN ALWAYS."
Meanwhile Samia Longchambon called for both producers and Roxanne to apologise to the actor, in a Tweet liked by ex-Corrie star Gemma Atkinson.
It read: "Just been reading about what’s happened with #CBB.. mind blown by Roxanne’s over reaction! @ryanjamesthomas deserves an apology from her big time #teamryan."
Samia and Ryan are known to be close, having played on-screen lovers Maria Connor and Jason Grimshaw on the soap in 2012.
Georgia May Foote echoed her co-stars' sentiments, adding: "@ryanjamesthomas is a lovely guy. It makes me sick people make up things like that.
"Its the reason people who really do go through it stay quiet. She has no idea. What an awful person x
Addressing the dangers of Roxanne's behaviour, she went on: "She is making a joke out of women who have been through this and suffer from the result of it on a daily basis.
"How dare she. @ryanjamesthomas we all love you lad."
Nicola Thorp shared a more impassioned message, which slammed the Channel 5 show for entertaining Roxanne's "insulting" behaviour.
She wrote: "This kind of behaviour is an insult to victims of domestic violence and to women and men who speak out against their abuser.
"The fact that they saw nothing happened and still gave Ryan a warning makes me worry that BB may be encouraging her."
Other stars standing up for Ryan included Hayley Tamaddon, who branded him "one of the kindest, warmest, funniest fellas I've met", and Charlie Condou, who assured "lovely" Ryan would "never hurt anyone".
Charlie, who starred alongside Ryan as Marcus Dent, then added: "In a time where #metoo means women are finally speaking out, Roxanne should be ashamed of her blatant attention seeking lies."
Kym Marsh added: "I am horrified at what happened on last nights #cbb how can someone get away with clearly manipulating a situation and attempting to tarnish someone’s name!! Get her out!!"
While Roxanne's former Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller also defended Ryan, slamming her as a "known compulsive liar".
Roxanne and Ryan appeared to be play fighting on last night's show as the actress was walking to the bedroom.
Ryan seemed to catch her a little bit too hard, causing Roxanne to call out: "Ow that bloody hurt," before branding him a "woman beater".

Later on, Roxanne demanded Ryan be removed from the house in the diary room, before asking to sleep in a separate room away from him.
She said "A boy who's punched me repeatedly, deliberately... he punched me like a boxer punches a bag.
"There was no banter, it was a joke...
"I can't believe you're letting someone stay in that's done that, it's not on."
