When was Kamikaze released and is it on Spotify and Apple Music?
On August 31, 2018, Eminem surprised fans with the release of his tenth studio album Kamikaze.
Its release marks a mere eight months since Eminem's last album, Revival, was unveiled to critically poor reviews, although it still reached No 1 in both the US and UK.
The album was executive-produced by longtime collaborator Dr Dre and some of the songs sample the works of Kendrick Lamar, Playboi Carti, and L.L. Cool J.
It's available to listen to now on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, iTunes and other digital providers.
What songs are on Eminem's new album?
The Detroit rapper takes aim at a number of people and topics on the release, including President Donald Trump, the Grammy Awards, and new-school rappers such as Lil Pump, and Lil Yachty.
Also addressed is the death of his former D12 bandmate Proof, the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and Em makes sure to attack the media for their poor reviews of Revival.
Unlike his last album, the rapper stays away from high-profile collaboration, such as Beyonce and Ed Sheeran, and instead aims to return to his snappy and intense earlier sound.
