She wrote: “I take my time with my children very seriously — my children will both be at school when I am training — it’s the reason I have agreed to do #strictly this year.
“I agree mothering is the most important job but I would never seek to preach.
“I would not usually but any comments around the people I am most passionate about in my life need to be addressed — I will not have that sort of comment on my timeline!!”
Kate, who did a documentary about her struggles to conceive and her subsequent IVF, added: “I am always happy to debate valid points even if I don’t share the view, but I rather suspect he’s best left to himself on this one.
One realised yes he’s just an angry person which is very sad.” Professional dancer Kevin Clifton, 35, jumped to Kate’s defence and tweeted: “So many times I see women accused of ‘ditching’ their kids if they are working.
Doesn’t make any sense.
Ridiculous.”
Kate later tweeted a pic of herself in a Strictly outfit, left, calling it “the most exotic dress I have ever worn”.
