Who is Molly Scott? X Factor 2018 live shows finalist from County Durham
MOLLY Scott made it all the way to the live shows on X Factor.
She was voted off The X Factor on November 4 after singing against Acacia K and Aaliyah Robinson in the bottom two - here's what we know about the aspiring singer so far...
Who is Molly Scott?
Molly Scott, 16, is from Easington in County Durham.
The young singer has just completed her GCSEs and feels ready to conquer the music industry.
The North East has developed into a hub for X-Factor winners including Joe McElderry in 2009, Little Mix in 2011, and James Arthur in 2012.
She wowed the X-Factor judges at her Wembley Arena audition by singing James Brown's It's A Man's World.
Molly has already made a name for herself in the North East with her powerful vocals competing in Unstoppable UK, Open Mic UK and Metro Radio's Big Audition.
Before her audition, she said: "I always go to my nana's on a Saturday and Sunday to watch The X Factor as me and my nana just love singing."
Following her successful audition, she also gained a seat during the Six Chair Challenge after Simon chose to give her a seat.
When the time to perform at the Judges' Houses arrived, Molly was shaking having been introduced to the all-star audience at Simon's posh house.
She chose to sing Korean boyband BTS' Fake Love in English which sealed the deal and got her through to the live shows.
Who are this year's X Factor judges?
The judging panel for the fifteenth series of the show has seen a major overhaul.
Simon Cowell remains but all three other judges have been replaced.
That means that Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are no longer on the panel.
Instead, they have been replaced by Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field. Sharon Osbourne will also help out during the live shows.
