DECLAN Donnelly and his wife Ali Astall have welcomed their first child.
The presenter, 42, broke the news today that he has become a dad to a little girl, revealing he was "head over heels" and that his wife, 40, was "doing well".
Writing on the social media account he shares with Ant, he told fans: "Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning.
He added: "Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x"
The couple were clearly inspired by Dec's mother, who is called Anne.
Following their baby news today the couple were inundated with comments from delighted fans and their famous friends.
Dec's co-star shared his joy, writing: “Welcome to the world baby Isla Elizabeth Anne. Can’t wait for cuddles. I love you already!! Uncle Ant xxxxx”
Rochelle Humes wrote: “CONGRATULATIONS to you both, so happy for the pair of you. Can’t wait to see her."

The Sun on Sunday revealed the couple were expecting their first child in March of this year.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, first broke the news they were having a child to close friends and family, including Ant McPartlin, until Dec's wife was safely over that period.
Ant was reportedly "over the moon" whilst Ant's estranged wife Lisa Armstrong also liked Dec's tweet about the good news.
Dec thanked fans on Twitter for their 'love' as he opened up about the pregnancy for the first time.
The 42-year-old star shared a romantic throwback from his and wife Ali Astall's wedding day and wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.
"Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it ❤ D x."
Speaking in May about becoming a dad, Dec gushed: “I just wish it would come out now, that we could fast-forward to having the baby. We want to get on with it – we can’t wait.”
