EastEnders spoilers: Carmel Kazemi horrified as son Shakil’s murderer returns to Albert Square
Sophie shocks her with some news about Bruno who stabbed Shakil to death earlier this year
CARMEL Kazemi’s world is turned upside down in EastEnders next week when the mother of the thug who stabbed her son Shakil to death arrives on her doorstep wanting to talk.
At first Carmel, played by Bonnie Langford in the BBC soap, wants nothing to do with the woman, Sophie, but she later spots an enraged Keegan Baker confronting her outside about the death of his best friend.
As Keegan shares some harsh words with Sophie, a concerned Carmel does her best to calm him down.
Her coolness just makes him even angrier though, as he questions how she can be so calm.
As Keegan continues to rage, Carmel insists he comes inside to talk to her and as they both get riled up, they get into a massive argument.
The thugs arrive later and cause a scene. While Kush and Martin chase after them, Carmel is left worried for Sophie’s safety.
She insists Sophie stays with them to keep her safe but Kush is furious when he finds out.
As Kush heads off to work Carmel realises there is more to Sophie’s visit and she reveals that Bruno – Shakil’s killer – wants her to visit and he wants her to bring Carmel.
Carmel isn’t sure, but she tells Kush what’s going on and goes along with Sophie to see Bruno at the prison.
