Beyonce sips wine and scoffs cake as she celebrates her birthday with Jay Z
BEYONCE celebrated her 37th birthday with a romantic trip to Italy with her husband Jay-Z.
The pop royalty pair shared a series of loved up pictures of their trip including sweet snaps of Beyonce's "Mrs Carter" birthday cake
The Crazy in Love singer was also pictured sipping on wine as she gazed out to sea with Jay - real name Shawn Carter - embracing her from behind.
Beyonce looked youthful and fresh in a pink maxi skirt and matching cropped top.
She showed off her toned waist with a belly chain and added a floppy hat and cat-eye sunglasses.
Jay-Z kept it casual in a white t-shirt with tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Beyonce captioned the pictures: "At 36 I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins.
"I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years.
"I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy.
"Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love.
"And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it.
"This year has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life.
"Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes.
"I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future. I love you, Hive. "
Beyonce and Jay are parents to Blue Ivy, six, and twins Sir and Rumi, one.
The megastar recently opened up to Vogue abut learning to love her body sand raising empowered children.
Beyonce had a tricky birth with the twins and had to have a C-section.
She said of her body after: "During my recovery, I gave myself self-love and self-care, and I embraced being curvier.
"I accepted what my body wanted to be.
";After six months, I started preparing for Coachella.
"I became vegan temporarily, gave up coffee, alcohol and all fruit drinks.
"But I was patient with myself and enjoyed my fuller curves.
