POP star Ariana Grande's rapper ex-boyfriend Mac Miller has died aged just 26, according to .
The rapper - who split with singer Ariana back in May - was reportedly found around lunchtime at his San Fernando Valley home.
The pair had dated for nearly two years and following their split said they would remain "the closest of friends".
Miller is reported to have had recent problems with substance abuse after he crashed his car in May and was arrested.
TMZ reports he fled the scene but cops say he later confessed at his home.
After his arrest Ariana tweeted: "Pls take care of yourself."

After their breakup, Ariana said: "I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.
"I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.
"Of course I didn't share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was."
A male friend is understood to have made the emergency call from Mac's home.
Audio from the emergency dispatch reveals they were called for a patient in cardiac arrest.
An investigation into his death has been launched and a coroner's van arrived at the scene at 2:30pm yesterday.
Mac and Ariana went public with their romance in August 2016.
Insiders explained the pair decided to split after their work schedules became too busy but they still "love each other dearly".
Ariana first met Mac when they recorded The Way together in 2013, and the pop star admitted last year she had had feelings for him for a long time before they got together romantically.
She said: "We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other's talent."
In a statement released after his death the star's family said: “Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26.
“He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.”
Chance The Rapper leads tributes to Mac Miller
Following the news of his death, Chance wrote on Twitter: "I don't know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever.
"But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew.
"Great man. I loved him for real. I'm completely broken. God bless him."
Singer Charlie Puth wrote: "I can't keep losing friends like this...I wish I spent more time with you these past weeks...I'm so sorry...rip MAC.
"You wrote the soundtrack to my college years and I'm so happy I got to know you...this sucks this really, really sucks."
Singer Shawn Mendes also took to Twitter to say: "Unreal. So sad. RIP Mac Miller."
Actor Jaden Smith wrote on the site: "Long Live Mac Miller, Rest in Peace We Love You."
Wiz Khalifa tweeted: "Praying for Mac's family and that he rest easy #pgh #412."
Diplo added: "RIP mac miller."
J.Cole tweeted: "Rest In Peace to the great soul Mac Miller."
Meanwhile Machine Gun Kelly took to Instagram to share a picture of Mac and wrote alongside it: "poet. rare. rest up mac. it was an honor comin up in the same circuit with u. those mixtape days will live forever with our generation and they were some of my favorite times. f*** this conversation."
Missy Elliott: "I'm so saddened to hear about @MacMiller such a kind spirit sending prayers for strength for his family & friends & fans during this difficult time."
In a final interview the star spoke about his struggle with anxiety and depression.
The 26-year-old star said: "I really wouldn't want just happiness. And I don't want just sadness either.
"I don't want to be depressed. I want to be able to have good days and bad days.
"I can't imagine not waking up sometimes and being like, 'I don't feel like doing s**t.' And then having days where you wake up and you feel on top of the world."

Mac and Ariana shared the stage together to perform The Way and Dang! at the One Love Manchester concert, which Ariana staged last July in the wake of the terrorist attack at her concert in the city last May.
Just days after their split it was reported that Ariana had moved on from her rapper beau with Pete Davidson.
The couple are now engaged.
Back in May Mac was arrested for driving under the influence following a hit and run where he crashed into a utility pole.
After fleeing the scene, Mac confessed to police at home and was twice over the legal drink drive limit.
Mac's final tweet to his 9million followers said: "I just wanna go on tour."
The rapper was due to hit the road next month after his latest album, Swimming, was released in August.
He had addressed his substance issues in his 2014 mixtape, Faces.
