EVICTED Celebrity Big Brother star Hardeep Singh Kohli has slammed Roxanne Pallett's behaviour in the house as "vindictive" as he backed Ryan Thomas to win.

The 49-year-old star was given the boot after losing out on the public vote against 66-year-old Sally Morgan last night and wasted no time in giving his opinion on the "punch" row.

The nation has been gripped after the former Emmerdale actress accused Ryan of her hurting her on purpose during a playfight - something she has since admitted to being wrong about.

Speaking to The Sun Online after leaving the house, Hardeep gave his opinion about Roxanne's behaviour.

He said: "I think we all have disagreements with folks in life but for me as a journalist and documentary maker, the truth and fact is essential to everything we do.

"Once you start creating truths and embellishing facts and find yourself in a vindictive state of mind, there's no coming back from that."

He added: "If I'm honest, I will concede I had worries about Roxanne's mental health but it's become quite clear that wasn't an issue and she's just that sort of person.

"But it's very frustrating for me because she has talent, she's very quick witted."

Talking about the moment Roxanne fell in the pool, which fans believe was an attempt by her to "frame" Hardeep, he said: "On the opening night I pretended to throw Chloe into the pool and Roxanne jumped in and there was no physical contact. So from that moment..."

Hardeep was then quick to throw his support behind Ryan: "I cannot stand by and watch injustice take place.

"I witnessed an injustice and I'm always going to stand up for those people.

"We had our differences but I was privileged to spend time with that man who has such love for his family and has the ability to express that love and joy.

He added: "He's going to win this and he deserves it as he's a smashing young man.

"He's a decent decent man and I can't stand by so of course I was going to support him."

The punch row so far

Hardeep also didn't mince his words when he spoke to CBB host Emma Willis during his eviction interview.

He revealed that he found being in the reality show house more traumatising than being held at gun point.

“I am more tired today than I have ever been in my life,” he said after being booted in the final eviction of the series before Monday’s live final.

“And I've been to war zones - do you know what I mean?” he said.

“I've had border crossings. I've had guns held to my head,” the star added.

He then joked: “But really, Dan's muscles threw me!”

Proving he can be something of a gentleman, Hardeep took his eviction defeat in good stride as he discussed losing out to Sally.

“I'm really glad Sal's in there as she really wanted to be there,” he said – before discussing his previously unbroken run of surviving evictions.

“I don't know anyone that's been up for eviction as much as me,” he said.

“I feel honoured that the public voted to keep me in three times,” he added.

Celebrity Big Brother's Roxanne Pallett asks for Ryan Thomas to be removed from the house for 'punching her'

Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will reach its natural conclusion on Monday night - with the winner being crowned as live scenes air from 9pm.

Kirstie Alley, Ryan Thomas, Dan Osborne, Nick Leeson and Sally are each still in with the chance of being crowned winner.

But for Hardeep – it was all over, falling at the last hurdle and just not close enough to the grand final.
