CORONATION Street's Charlie Lawson reveals his character Jim McDonald "will pay" for snogging his pretend daughter Hannah.
Fans were disgusted when Jim and Hannah, who Jim's ex Liz believes is their daughter Katie, shared a passionate kiss.
Jim is planning on using Hannah to drain Liz's bank account, but Charlie makes it clear Jim won't go sailing into the sunset.
Speaking to , he said: "Jim just wants Liz back, but by that stage, he's in too deep. It gives the character a sort of redemption, which is important. Jim's never been a bad man, he just makes mistakes as every man does."
"He makes it very clear that he does feel guilty, but unfortunately the damage is done. Jim has made a terrible mistake and he's done a horrible thing – and he'll pay for it."
Corrie fans were sickened by this week's seemingly incestuous snog, which saw Hannah assume the identity of Katie - who actually died at birth.
Just moments after persuading an emotional Liz she was her daughter, Hannah said to Jim: "That was harder than I thought it would be, meeting her face to face."
He told her: "I think you did really well.
"As a matter of fact you made your old dad proud so you did."

The scam was then revealed as Hannah pounced on Jim, saying: "Hey, less of the old and certainly less of the dad - you're neither."
Their passionate kiss was enough to have viewers heaving in front of their television sets.

Earlier Liz was distraught to discover her daughter was alive and sitting opposite her in The Bistro.
