Why is Akeem Griffiths on Big Brother and is he on social media?

Akeem Griffiths appears to have shut down his Instagram account @akeem_griffiths.

His football friends hinted that he would be going into the house by posting their support on the team Twitter account.

They wrote: "Akeem is a massive fundraiser for us and other charities through his running so please download the big brother app and get behind our guy ‘The Consultant ‘ for this years BBUK!"

When is Big Brother 2018 on TV and who is presenting?

Big Brother returned to Channel 5 on the September 14 this year.

Emma Willis is hosting the 19th series of Big Brother, having begun her stint on the show back in 2013.

The outrageous Rylan Clark-Neal continues at the helm of popular spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit on the Side for all the gossip from the house.

Traditionally BB airs in June but TV bosses pushed it back so it didn't clash with Love Island.

The launch comes just days after the final of the explosive second series of Celebrity Big Brother for 2018, which saw Ryan Thomas emerge as the winner.

BB housemates were told they may have to keep 14 weeks free as the series is set to be the longest since 2007, which lasted 13 weeks.

Where is the Civilian Big Brother house and has it moved for 2018?

The house has not moved for the latest series.

The current setting for both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother is a large compound in Borehamwood, nestled right next to where the original Star Wars was filmed.

The site is just a 22-minute train journey from London Kings Cross Station.

Moving the Big Brother house to Elstree Studios in the Hertfordshire location has allowed housemates an extra level of protection.

The famous house was originally located in Bow, London, near the 3 Mills Studios.

Who won Big Brother 2017?

Last year's explosive Big Brother series was won by Isabelle Warburton.

The reality star - who won £65,000 - revealed she would be donating some of her winnings to a mental health charity.

Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "I just think that mental health is really neglected because people don’t see it - so like, a broken leg is given more attention than like something that’s within your head.

"And until you’ve suffered from anxiety or anything along those lines you don’t know how people are feeling and it’s so important to raise awareness."

The 21-year-old was left shocked when it was announced she had won the latest series of the Channel 5 reality show.

Reflecting on her time in the house, Isabelle said she did her best to stay calm in the many arguments which ensued.
