Who is Richard Corrigan on Great British Menu?
Richard Corrigan is a 54-year-old chef and restauranteur from Dublin.
The Ireland native worked in The Netherlands for several years before becoming the head of Mayfair restaurant Mulligan's.
He opened and worked as the head chef of countless restaurants including Lindsay House in Soho and Corrigan's in Mayfair.
Richard has also been crowned the winner of the Great British Menu three times.
On top of those accomplishments, the Irish chef has released multiple cookbooks and presented and appeared in various television series.
Richard has also received the royal approval, having cooked for the Queen twice.
How many Michelin stars does he have?
He earned his first Michelin star as the head chef of Stephen Bull in 1994.
Later, Richard won a Michelin star for Lindsay House in 1997.
However, Corrigan's has been awarded the London Restaurant of the Year in 2008 and the AA London Restaurant of the Year in 2009.
The restaurant also gained one of the highest new entries on the National Restaurant Awards at number five.
Corrigan Collection consists of four restaurants owned by Richard Corrigan himself.
