GREAT British Bake Off fans demanded to know where Terry was during tonight's episode.
Viewers spotted the contestant was missing from this evening's Dessert Week as it was revealed he was too ill to participate.
A week after winning last week's naan bread technical challenge, it was revealed by hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding that the 56-year-old retired air steward was absent due to sickness.
Despite the announcement - which also explained that the rest of the bakers had unanimously agreed to allow him to proceed to next week - many of those watching at home were confused by where he was.
Taking to Twitter, one asked: " Whats happened to Terry?"
Another commented: "WHERES TERRY!? "
Others revealed they "missed" Terry, while a few joked that the contestant had deliberately pulled a sickie to avoid the tough sweet challenge.
One shared: " l miss terry"
Another posted: "Terry pulling a sickie to get through to the next round. My man. "
A third wrote: "I miss terry. If he was here he would be making something ridiculous in this show stopper like a lifesize hot air balloon made of chocolate "
Contestant Dan was named the Star Baker and it was revealed that no one would be sent home.
At the end of the show the bakers were visibly relieved they were all staying in the competition.
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith said they felt it wouldn't be fair for someone to go home without the full line-up in the tent.
However, it means two people could potentially leave next week.
