TOWIE diva Gemma Collins has signed up for this year’s series of Dancing On Ice, The Sun can reveal.
The larger-than-life Essex-born star, 37, has received a written offer from ITV to take part in the skating show.
A show source said: “Gemma was one of the first names they wanted to sign.
“They made her a big offer and are confident she will be one of the stars of the show this year.
“They think viewers will love to see her show off her dancing skills, particularly as Strictly turned her down.”
Gemma has appeared in a number of reality shows before, but lasted just 72 hours on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2014 before quitting.
And she appeared on Celebrity Masterchef earlier this year to settle a legal wrangle with the BBC after she fell through a stage trap door while hosting their Radio 1 Teen Awards.
Initially she contacted lawyers and told BBC bosses she wouldn’t file a lawsuit if given a place on Strictly.
As a result of her threats, Beeb producers put a ban on reality stars for future series.
But an ITV source added: “We’ll have celebrities from all walks of life on our shows. “The GC is a big character and will be telly gold. Strictly’s loss is Dancing on Ice’s gain.”
