Joe Sugg makes cheeky gesture during first Strictly Come Dancing live show – but did you spot it?
YouTube star wanted his fans to join in a game with him when he appeared on the hit BBC One dancing show but you’d have needed to be watching very carefully to join in
JOE Sugg made a cheeky gesture to fans of a certain game during the first Strictly Come Dancing live show.
He was standing with his co-stars who were talking to Claudia Windkleman when eagle eyed viewers spotted what he was going.
Joe looked completely unsuspecting at first and appeared to be listening intently.
However viewers then noticed the way he was holding his hand and realised he was playing the circle game.
The game sees people making an OK sign with their fingers and if an opposing player looks at it – they lose.
So it seems Joe could have infuriated a lot of people with his gesture, but most viewers loved it.
One tweeted: “@Joe_Sugg loool, we see you and that hand!”
Another said: “@Joe_Sugg yeah we see what you're doing with your hand there hahaha!”
While a third told their followers: “10 minutes in and Joe has already pranked us, I saw your hand!”
Some were confused by his movements but viewers in the know were quick to fill them in.
One fan explained to their followers: “The gesture is a reference to The Circle Game, where you have to make a circle with your hand below your waist and get another person to look at it.
“If the other person looks at it you punch them in the arm.”
Joe is famed for his pranks on his YouTube channel and is now an idol to millions of young people.
Currently, Joe has 5.7million fans on Instagram, 5.53million on Twitter, 2.3million Facebook likes and 8.2million subscribers to his YouTube channel.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday and Sunday on BBC One.
