Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey kiss baby son Freddie after skipping Love Island co-star Olivia Buckland’s wedding
The couple jetted to Turkey with their son and ignored the backlash, after they refused to go to Olivia and Alex's wedding
CARA De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey jetted to Turkey and put on a loved-up display after skipping Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen's wedding.
The couple showered their son Freddie with kisses, and ignored the backlash after Cara's former friend slammed her for missing her wedding.
Cara wore a gorgeous dress adorned with oranges, and Nathan and their son showed off their matching swim shorts as they enjoyed the September sunshine.
As the trio walked through the town, Nathan couldn’t resist stopping his girlfriend and stealing a smooch as she laughed at his jokes.
Later, the family perched on the grass and looked a picture of happiness against the beautiful seaside backdrop.
Their holiday comes as Cara's ex-pal lashed out at her and said she "ignored" her for months in the lead-up to her wedding - which is why she dumped her as a bridesmaid.
When asked why Cara was not a bridesmaid for her wedding to Alex Bowen, Olivia explained: "There are two sides to every story. I guess we haven't been that close for a while and I hadn't seen it.
"She missed a few things and I didn't see her for weeks and months on end... When I asked her to be my bridesmaid I thought we were close, and then sadly we drifted apart, there was no big fallout or anything."
The 24-year-old star went on to add that she asked Cara "nearly every day" to attend her big day, but received no response, leaving her understandably "hurt".
Olivia added to : "I've not really commented on the stories [until this point], mainly because it is really upsetting, and I don't think it's appropriate involving the media.
"I hope now the wedding is over it just goes away, and everyone can draw a line under it."
However, the reality star insisted that she didn't miss Cara as she tied the knot, explaining: "Luckily there was so much going on and it was such a perfect day I didn't get a chance to think about it."
Meanwhile, Cara took to her Twitter page yesterday to hit back at the reports surrounding Olivia and Alex's marriage.
As photos from the wedding were released, the Love Island 2016 winner told fans that the fight was "over" and she "no longer cares" about being dumped from the wedding party.

Alongside a tearful emoji, she wrote: "People constantly bringing my name into things.
"It's done it's over stop talking about me. I've got a baby to look after I don't care leave me alone."
Cara and Olivia became close friends when they starred in the 2016 series of Love Island together, but it all fell apart when Olivia revealed in her column that she'd axed her pal as a bridesmaid.
