STRICTLY judge Craig Revel Horwood has branded fashionista Susannah Constantine “one of the worst” contestants in the show’s 14 year history after awarding her a rock bottom score of one on the weekend.
In an exclusive interview the choreographer, 53, said he felt forced to break a long spell of not awarding the low number after her Samba routine with pro Anton Du Beke, 52, left her looking like she was “staggering about lost and drunk at a party”.
Describing Susannah’s perfromance, Craig said: “One of the worst. I think the last time I gave someone a ‘one’ was nine years ago. So she’s broken my silence on my vow of never giving anyone a ‘one’.”
Craig had in fact given given Italian socialite Nancy Dell’Olio and pro Anton Du Beke a ‘one’ for their Waltz in 2011 – seven years ago.
But the catty panellist insisted he gave telly star Susannah a pep talk after her routine left her bottom of the leaderboard with a combined score of 12 on Saturday night.
Speaking at the Best Heroes Awards, he added: “Bless her I had to talk to her after the show and we just had a really good chat in the BBC bar about it just saying ‘look you’ve just got to relax and pull yourself together and try and get on with it, pick yourself, forget that ever happened’.

“And hopefully, she’s got a ballroom dance next week and she’s in the ballroom master’s arms. She’s being looked after very very well.”
Susannah and Anton will dance the Foxtrot this week to Frank Sinatra’s They Can’t Take That Away From Me.
STRICTLY ONE DANCING
SUSANNAH may have struggled to impress the judges — but she’s not the only One.
Quentin Willson was handed two Ones by Craig Revel Horwood and Arlene Phillips for his Cha Cha Cha in Series Two.
Others to receive the show’s lowest score include Fiona Phillips, Gary Rhodes, John Sergeant and Ann Widdecombe.
And Craig is mistaken — he gave his previous last One seven years ago to Nancy Dell’Olio for her Waltz in 2011’s Series Nine.
