GREAT British Bake Off viewers were left outraged tonight as it was revealed the next episode will be the first ever vegan week.

In a teaser for the show, Noel Fielding can be heard saying: "Next time, we're throwing out the eggs and butter in our first ever vegan week."

The bakers were then seen in a fluster, with one dropping a tart on the floor before they are all challenged to make vegan meringues.

Then they have a towering cake showstopper and the final clip shows one design slowly slipping off it's stand onto the used pans next to it in a complete baking disaster.

But despite the impending drama, many viewers were furious at the theme and took to Twitter to complain.

One wrote: "Vegan week? FFS" while another added: "VEGAN WEEK?! Oh please god no. All of a sudden I feel like murdering a carrot."
