Strictly bosses confirm Seann Walsh and Katya Jones will dance the Charleston this weekend as they ‘ban sexy routines’ after snog scandal
After their snog sent fans of the BBC dancing show into meltdown, it’s business as usual for the Beeb who've announced Seann and Katya will be performing the high intensity Charleston on Saturday
STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses have confirmed Seann Walsh and Katya Jones will dance the Charleston this weekend.
It comes after claims producers had decided to “veto sexy routines” to try stop further talk about their relationship, following that scandalous snog.
Seann, 32, and 29-year-old Katya returned to training this week after The Sun On Sunday revealed they’d passionately snogged during a night out.
Both issued grovelling apologies but fans – and the show’s judges – have demanded they be removed from the competition.
Earlier today is was claimed BBC bosses had been locked in crisis talks about Seann’s future on the show, especially given the claims levelled against him by his now ex-girlfriend.
Previously Seann and Katya have performed racy routines, including last week's intense Paso Doble.
But now they've been tasked with the notoriously tricky Charleston, which involves minimal contact and maximum skill.
Bosses have chosen Bills, by Lunchmoney Lewis as the track they will dance along to.
In the hours before Seann and Katya’s snog was made public, it was believed they would be performing a “sexy routine” on Saturday.
However insiders told The Mirror this was changed to stop viewers scrutinising their on-screen chemistry.

A source claimed: “There was a feeling that the touchy-feely dance they were doing was not appropriate given the circumstances.
“The new one is much more fitting – no one wants to see them looking too sexy together, or too happy, when their partners are hurting.”
Seann looked ashen faced when he was pictured for the first time since his kiss with Katya was revealed.
And she was spotted looking miserable this morning as she made her way to the London studios from the home she shares with her husband, Strictly dancer Neil.
