CHRISTINE McGuinness broke down in tears on Loose Women as she spoke about her relationship with husband Paddy.
The mum of three became emotional as she appeared on a special edition of Loose Women for autism awareness with Paddy sending in a special message calling her an "amazing woman and an amazing wife".
"I have to say he's amazing too," she said as she began to cry when asked if it was tough on the couple.
"I find it easy with the children, yes it's challenging but I just managed it but he struggled.
"He's so good but he has to be because he loves the children but just getting his head around the fact we've got three children with a lifelong condition that we knew nothing about.
"Nothing can prepare you for that, you have to learn on the job. He's doing absolutely amazing.
"He only spoke about it recently. I think it's harder for dads and men.
"We've always stayed so private anyway. We have a completely different world at home than when we're doing what we're doing."
Speaking about the effects their children's needs has had on their relationship, Christine admitted it was tough but that they get through it as best they can.
She said: "It's part of the parcel.
"The kids are always going to come first and we have to make time for ourselves when we can. We've been together 11 years and for the first time he's been at home for 10 weeks, that's never happened before.
"Even when we do go out we have to stay near the children's' schools. We can't go on romantic nights away and we still haven't been able to go abroad."
She added: "Thank god I married a comedian because we laugh every day."
