Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood blames Katya Jones for the Seann Walsh cheating scandal
CRAIG Revel Horwood has blamed Katya Jones for the Seann Walsh cheating scandal.
The Strictly partners were caught snogging in the street last week, but the judge has now claimed Katya "broke protocol" as a professional dancer on the show.
Seann and Katya publicly apologised for their behaviour earlier this week, after Seann was publicly dumped by his long-term girlfriend on Twitter.
However Craig, 53, has revealed he feels the Russian dancer is the one at fault, as its her job to guide her celebrity partner safely through the series.
He told the : "Personally, I think Katya was in the wrong. She should have put a stop to it because she’s a professional dancer.
"It’s her job not only to protect her own relationship, but to protect the celebrity’s and be the mentor. I think she broke protocol over that. She should never have allowed it to happen."
Seann and Katya were not axed for the kiss and will perform tonight - which Craig added will be "tough" for them, as well as Katya's husband Neil, who is also a dancer on the show.
He said: "They're the ones who have to go on and do the dance of shame.
"It’s like going to a Christmas party and you snog the boss. You still have to come to work on Monday if you want the job."
Seann's ex Rebecca Humphries slammed the comedian in a blistering statement after the photos came to light, in which she revealed she'd moved out of their flat and taken the cat with her.
However it has since been reported Seann has apologised to face-to-face, and is keen to make amends with the public on tonight's show.
Katya's husband Neil is yet to address the scandal, and was even seen heading to work the day after the photos emerged.
Strictly bosses reportedly asked for the sexy routine they had initially planned to do to be toned down - giving them a Charleston tonight instead of a romantic Rumba.
