CORONATION Street's Michelle Connor panics when confronted by police over Ronan's death.
The barmaid hasn't had an easy run of things lately and it doesn't look like things will be letting up anytime soon.
In tonight's episode Michelle is put her through paces when a police officer challenges her over the events leading up to Ronan's death.
Approaching Michelle as she waits at the hospital, the copper expresses doubt about what happened with Ronan.
A confused and still shell-shocked Michelle doesn’t know how to respond or gather her thoughts.
The officer then informs Michelle that Ronan had a gun in his car before asking Michelle to come down to the police station later that day for a full statement.
Michelle protests that she has already done a statement but the officer insists that it’s necessary for her to come down.
After walking away the policewoman turns around and tells the barmaid: “Between you and me I think the world is a much safer place without Ronan in it.
“For you and your family especially.”
Poor Michelle is left looking worried and confused.
Just last week Michelle and Robert Preston were left reeling when they made a shocking discovery about her son Ali Neesom and the car crash which left Ryan Connor in hospital.
The police had interrogated Ali about Cormac Truman’s death and the crash involving his dad Ronan.
Ali answered their questions but when they brought up the subject of the gun found in Ronan’s car, the suspended medic denied all knowledge of it.
The police then questioned Michelle about what happened and she was stunned to learn that Ronan had a gun in the car.
Later Ali revealed to Michelle the secret he had been keeping since the day of the crash.
Michelle promised to take Ali’s secret to the grave and she confided in Robert about Ali’s fears over Ronan.
Michelle, Ali and Ryan were all involved in a horrific car smash that left Ronan dead.
And now it seems that Michelle just can't catch a break as police continue to pester her.
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
