MEGAN McKenna has written her debut album Story Of Me with Ed Sheeran's collaborator Amy Wadge.
The Only Way is Essex star teamed up with Thinking Out Loud writer Amy on her first ever album and admitted the "emotional" tracks were penned over endless cups of tea.
The result is a hugely personal record that reads like her "diary" as Megan explained to The Sun Online: "I sat down with (Amy) and had 50 million teas.
"I completely opened up and said how I was feeling, getting it all off your chest is the best feeling.
"The vibe of the album is me as a person, an all rounder, not just about relationships. This is my time to show my side of feelings and emotions... but it’s definitely not a slagging match, it’s very personal.
"People normally see me on screen either in an argument, falling out with someone, or in a breakup. I really wanted people to step into my life without all of that, all of the editing.
Megan is ready to tell her side of the story and share her pain with fans in her new album
"That's why I wanted to call it the Story of Me ... I want people to listen to my music and feel like they're reading my diary."
Megan, who broke up with Mike Thalassitis earlier this year, spent the past 12 months transforming her life, having bought a house and taken time out of Towie to concentrate on her music and debut album, which comes out on December 7.
She says she's firmly decided that this is the path she wants to take and it is "just the start" after having spent her "whole life working towards this."
She added: "I will never stop doing TV but I want to film positive things now.
"I prefer to put all my energy into music, not negative people that want to have arguments.
"Country music is all about telling your story, and I've definitely grown up and I can control my anger better. I'm 26 now, I had just turned 23 when I first went on TV."
Megan supported Michael Bublé on stage over the summer at London's Hyde Park and has dreamed of supporting another idol on tour, country music star, Kacey Musgraves.

She admitted it amazes her how far she has come, but insisted she has worked her whole life to get where she is.
Megan said: "About a year ago now, I bought my first house, done everything I ever wanted I've had done. I saved up for these past three years and put it all into my house. It really hits me."
"I never thought in a million years I'd have this. I used to be running around in my little KA, running on £5 petrol. So I understand the meaning of money. I'm really grateful.
"I've not just got into the industry in three years, my whole life I've been working towards it. I've been singing since I was a baby, training, travelling into London from the age of 13. I'm finally getting there. But I'm still not where I want to be. This is just the start."
