LYSETTE Anthony has warned that her character Marnie Nightingale could fall back into Mac's trap.
The Hollyoaks actress made the shock revelation on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards.
Speaking to , Lysette, 55, praised actor David Easter, 58, for his portrayal of vengeful Mac.
She said: "He has been such an amazing villain and I am thrilled with what we've been doing.
"The complexity of a married couple, Marnie knows him, there are ties with the kids, is she going to get lured back?"
The actress then seemed to hint that Marnie could be cast under his spell once again.
Lysette added: "She isn't stupid but she is also worn out and homeless! So we'll see.
"If anyone is going to sniff Mac out it will be Marnie but she might have a moment of amnesia."
This follows news her on-screen husband David reprising his role as manipulative Mac on the hit soap.
Mean Mac managed to beat his locked-in syndrome after spending nine-months at a care home following his fall at The Dog.
But now it seems he's returned to the village intent on wreaking havoc.
Lysette spilled the beans on the red carpet at the annual soap awards ceremony.
Last year the actress claimed she was raped by Harvey Weinstein in the late 1980s when he turned up at her house.
She told cops about the alleged incident last year after years trying to forget the “pathetic, revolting” attack.
Lysette, once hailed the Face of the Eighties by photographer David Bailey, said it left her feeling “disgusted and embarrassed”.
The actress told The Sunday Times she became friends with Weinstein after they met in New York.
But she says everything changed when she met him for a drink at his rented home in Chelsea a few years later.
Waiving her right to anonymity, the actress told the paper: “The next thing I knew he was half undressed and he grabbed me.

"It was the last thing I expected and I fled. That was when the predatory stalking began.”
One day he turned up at her flat at about 10am, Lysette said.
She went on: “He pushed me inside and rammed me up against the coat rack.
“He was trying to kiss me and shove inside me.”
Lysette tried to push him away but said he was too heavy. She said: “Finally, I just gave up.”
The actress is best known for her roles in sitcoms Three Up, Two Down, Auf Wiedersehen Pet and the BBC's A Ghost In Monte Carlo.
She first met Weinstein in 1982 when she starred in science-fiction flick Krull.
She later featured in Woody Allen’s 1992 hit Husbands and Wives.
