VIEWERS of the new Halloween movie have claimed it's so scary they're wetting themselves and are too terrified to sleep.
Cinema-goers claim the reboot of the 1978 classic - which went down a storm at the US Box Office during its opening weekend - has left them traumatised and even "anxious".
Giving their verdict on Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Halloween was sooooooo good, bitch i almost p****d myself."
And it seems people almost wetting themselves during the movie isn't uncommon, as others wrote: "We just saw the new halloween and i nearly p****d myself like four times that s**t was spooky."
And: "I deadass watched Halloween and p****d myself."
Many fans admitted they could no longer sleep - or could only go to bed if the lights had been left on.
One wrote: "I can’t go to sleep because I’m thinking about that Halloween movie."
"THE NEW HALLOWEEN MOVIE: 10/10 can’t sleep without a nightlight now," another agreed.
Even parents are struggling to separate the spooky movie from reality, as one fan admitted their mum had become terrified of the dark.
They quipped: "My mom can’t sleep and is in the living room with all the lights on. The Halloween movie really did a number on her this morning. She’s so cute!"
The reaction comes after Halloween made a killing at the US box office during its opening weekend.
The horror raked in more than £59million.
The impressive sum makes it the highest grossing horror film with a female lead - and the biggest for any film with a female lead over 55.
Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strodie in the movie.
Set 40 years after the original film, Laurie is now a grandmother who has been waiting for an opportunity to confront Michael Myers once more.
And their final confrontation arises when the masked killer returns to Haddonfield, Illinios, after his killing spree on Halloween night in 1978.
The movie now boasts the second-highest debut for an October release - sitting just behind Venom.
