Danny Dyer loads up on salad as he goes for lunch at Pizza Hut with wife Jo Mas

DANNY Dyer treated his wife Joanne Mas to lunch over the weekend - at a humble Pizza Hut.

While the joint is known for its delicious pizza flavours, the actor, 41, was seen loading up his plate at the salad bar, as he caught up with his wife in their native east London.

The EastEnders star, wearing jeans and trainers, looked casual and comfortable as he relaxed with his family during a day off filming.

Wanting to keep the outing reasonably healthy however, Danny was seen stocking up on all the salad on offer, before returning to Joanne at their table.

Danny seemed to be making the most of a day off from EastEnders, for which he won an Inside Soap Award earlier this week.

He and co-star Kellie Bright, who play Mick and Linda Carter on the soap, bagged the award for Best Soap Partnership.

Danny did not attend, but Kellie was pictured making a bleary-eyed exit from the bash after a night of celebrations.

Despite the soap's success Danny's next TV appearance will be alongside daughter Dani, who won Love Island over the summer.

The pair are taking part in the celebrity edition of Gogglebox on Friday, in order to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

The actor is known to be close to his daughter, and even welled up at the launch of her clothing collection with InTheStyle earlier this month.

The pair were even thought to be filming an "Osbornes-style reality show", after Dani and boyfriend Jack Fincham gained a huge fan following on the ITV2 show.

However Dani has since confirmed that her dad wasn't "ready" for a reality show - and that the programme will only follow her and Jack.

She told the : "My family aren’t involved – so there ain't no big Kardashian type show coming up with the Dyers, sorry to disappoint!"
