Cheryl took to Twitter to share multiple butterfly emojis.

The cryptic message may not have had any words but that didn't stop fans from getting in a frenzy over it.

Within just an hour of posting, the tweet had already been liked 1.7k times and shared over 300 times.

And to top off all the excitement, Cheryl even interacted with her fans.

Cheryl cheekily replied to a comment saying "Please say your back" with "Your back" - and even that comeback warranted 335 likes and 38 retweets.

And Cheryl seemed to confirm the date of the music release when she liked a fan's comment asking: "November 9th yeah?"

The singer may be upping her interaction with fans today but it was only yesterday that she deleted her entire Instagram page ahead of her big comeback.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted that she had wiped it, including her profile picture today – leaving just the hashtag #LoveMadeMeDoIt, which is the name of her new single.

The Sun On Sunday previously revealed that the 35-year-old's comeback track focuses on her painful split from One Direction star-turned-solo act Liam Payne and her other failed romances.

Cheryl sings about how she is a “sucker” as she “falls in love” with “every f***er” in the expletive-ridden track.

A source said: “It is a very edgy pop-dance track and not a typical song which you would expect from Cheryl.

“She’s not holding back on her feelings and inevitably it will lead to a lot of speculation.”

We also revealed that she will performing the comeback track on the X Factor in November and judging by her now empty Instagram account, it could be sooner than we think.

Cheryl has co-written her new album with her former Girls Aloud bandmate and close pal Nicola Roberts.

Following the split from the father of her son Bear, she told The Sun:  “Nicola and I wrote every track together. It’s been great working with one of my best friends, but I’m really proud of the album and excited for people to hear the new music.

“It’s pretty much finished. At this stage we’re deciding what will be the first single. We’re choosing between about three songs, but that’s quite a nice problem to have. Thankfully I’m not looking at it, saying, ‘Oh God, all this work and we don’t have a hit record’. I think we do.”

And she revealed that her son has already her music, saying: “He has heard my music and recognises his mum’s voice, but doesn’t know where it’s coming from. He finds it very confusing.”
