Idris Elba named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ – but claims he was picked on at school for being ‘tall and skinny’
IDRIS Elba has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive 2018.
The Luther actor beat Michael B. Jordan, as well as Chris Pratt and Jason Momoa to the highly-acclaimed title.

The 46-year-old actor was in shock when he found out about the accolade.
Speaking to about his reaction, he said: "I was like, 'Come on, no way. Really?'"
Although Idris was taken aback by the news, he said it was an "ego boost".
He added: "I looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, 'Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.'

"But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure."
Idris has revealed he wasn't always the most attractive male, and when he was at school he was bullied for being 'tall and skinny'.
He added: "I was very tall and skinny. And my name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, OK? I got picked on a little bit."
But things soon changed for the better and he was given more credit when he hit puberty.

He said: "But as soon as I could grow a moustache, I was the coolest kid on the block. Grew a moustache, had some muscles, bonkers.”
While Idris is very proud of his achievement, he believes his mother, Eve, will be even more excited.
Speaking on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, which saw the host announce the exciting news to Idris, he said: "My mum is going to be very, very proud."
