Una Healy says she wants to make amends with cheating ex-husband Ben Foden

UNA Healy has revealed she wants to make amends with her cheating ex-husband Ben Foden.

The Sun revealed back in July that the Saturdays singer had confronted the rugby player over allegations he had cheated on her.

The couple split after six years of marriage just days before they were due to move to America with their two children.

But speaking to Closer Magazine, Una, 37, revealed she would like to be on good terms with her ex despite him having a fling with PR girl Becky Milne, 26, after a boozy party.

She said: "'I want to stay friends with Ben.

"He's the father of my children and he's in my life forever, so hopefully one day we can be friends."

Una has daughter Aoife Belle, six and son Tadhg, three, with Ben, 33, and is doing her best to focus on her children as she deals with her heartache.

She added to Best Magazine: "I'm taking it one day at a time. It's all I can do right now.

"I'm focusing on the kids and just...getting on with things."

The star is also using her solo career as a means of distraction from any personal strife and is back in the studio recording new music.

She explained: "That's why I love my music so much. I can put all the emotions and the pain into that and bring out something positive."

Una is also thankful for the support her family and friends have given her since her marriage split.

She said: "My friends and family, my gorgeous kids, even strangers have been so supportive and it's really helped me, so much."
