TWO failed high-profile marriages and having a baby with a member of One Direction: Cheryl's crazy love life has been well-documented.
But these aren't the only notches on her bedpost...
Cheryl, 35, is about to return to the music scene after a four-year hiatus, with the release of her new single Love Made Me Do It.
In it, she pokes fun at her poor taste in men with the lyrics: "Oh my god, I’m such a sucker, I fall in love with every f***er".
While some may think the lyrics could be about ex-husbands Ashley Cole and restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini - or her failed relationship with Liam Payne, the father of her son Bear, she's had several other lesser-known flings.
From the plumber who claims Cheryl loved to wear a cowboy hat in the bedroom and had sex with her seven times in one day to the reality star she dumped for fame, Sun Online takes a look at some of the men who got away.
One of Cheryl's early boyfriends was plumber Steve Thornton, then 21, who she dated for five months back in 2000.
In 2008, he said that Cheryl seduced him by putting a blindfold on him and leading him upstairs, telling him "I'm going to give you the ride of your life".
She took the blindfold off, revealing that she was wearing a cowboy outfit.
The pair met when Cheryl, then 17, was working as a waitress in a local café. Steve said Cheryl would "flirt outrageously with me over the counter and give me secret sexy looks."
He also said they enjoyed a raunchy sex life, with Cheryl also role-playing as Britney Spears in the bedroom, performing a "sexy strip" to Baby One More Time.
Steve also said they called in sick for two weeks, spending "every minute making love".
"One day I counted we had sex seven times," he added - however Cheryl denied the claims.
Cheryl's next bloke was furniture salesman Jason Mack, who she is believed to have dated for 18 months from 2000 to 2002, before she was chosen to be in Girls Aloud.
Jason, who was 27 at the time, admits that he put his younger girlfriend "through hell" due to his crippling drug addictions.
"When I first met her I was doing a lot of cocaine," he told the Daily Mirror. "Some days I'd blow £200 on the stuff, and I'd be drinking bottles of Bud from 8am until I crashed out at God knows when."
However, he said the star would sit with him "for hours" trying to talk him out of buying drugs.
Generous Cheryl would also save up her waitress wages to buy Jason expensive designer menswear - and in return he got a she-devil tattoo with the word "Chez" - his nickname for her - underneath.
Cheryl later revealed her song Craziest Things, from 2012's A Million Lights was about her relationship with Jason, saying: "We swore, we fought, we did everything it says in that song. "People think it’s passionate and fun, but it’s aggressive and wrong.
"I was depressed and poorly. I had to end it for my health.”
After splitting with Jason, Cheryl was catapulted into the limelight when she auditioned for Popstars: The Rivals.
And she picked up a new man on the way when she started dating fellow contestant Jacob Thompson during the final round of auditions.
"I thought he was lovely," Cheryl said at the time. "His eyelashes are amazing and I love his light eyes and dark skin. He's got a fantastic body."
She even reportedly took Jacob to visit her family home in Newcastle. However, the pair stayed at her friends' houses as she didn't want to sleep with her new beau at her mum's place.
“My heart was beating 10 to the dozen. Her body was beautiful. She’s petite and perfectly formed like a little China doll," said Jacob of the first time they made love.
She blamed her hectic schedule for ending the romance, but Jacob, now a carpet fitter on £20,000 a year, was less than complimentary.
When Cheryl became an X Factor judge in 2008, he told the Daily Mirror that at a party to celebrate Girls Aloud's new-found fame she cruelly dismissed him by asking what he was doing there.
"Our relationship was over and we never spoke again," he said. "Weeks afterwards, friends in the music industry told me Cheryl’s PR people had told her to ‘dump the boyfriend’."
One of Cheryl's best-known romances is her four-year marriage to former Chelsea ace Ashley Cole, but before him she had a brief fling with former West Ham player Kieron Dyer.
In his autobiography, Old Too Soon, Smart Too Late, he says he dated the singer six months before she began a relationship with Ashley Cole in early 2004.
Midfielder Kieron said he took Cheryl to the cinema on their first date after they "hit it off straight away".
"She admitted she’d had a few drinks to calm her nerves she was so nervous," he says in the book.
"She was an absolutely great girl, but my personal life was complicated at that time and I wouldn’t say we were ever really boyfriend and girlfriend.
"There was a time a bit later when she wanted me to get more serious, but I couldn’t because I had got another girl pregnant.
"I knew that Cheryl deserved better than me, so it kind of fizzled out."
He added that when his sister went to prison five years later, Cheryl sent a card and bunch of flowers to his mum. "I have no idea how she got hold of mum’s address but that just emphasised to me what a great heart she has," he added.
Kieron, who now coaches the U-16 Ipswich Town squad, has been married to wife Holly Dyer since 2014.
During 2010 to 2011, it seemed you couldn't pick up a paper without seeing pics of Cheryl and her choreographer Derek Hough enjoying nights out together.
But it wasn't until 2013 that the American dancer confirmed their relationship.
He said: “We dated for a while. I’ve never spoken about her because her friendship is important to me.”
When Cheryl contracted malaria in 2010 following a trip to Tanzania - where she was reportedly 24 hours from death at one point - he stayed by her side.
They sadly split a few months later, but Derek insisted they were "still friends".
However, in 2016 there were reports he was planning to write her out of a memoir he was working on.
Derek, 33, has since moved on: he's been in a relationship with fellow dancer Hayley Erbert who is nine years his junior since early 2017.
Cheryl showed she had a thing for American dancers when she started dating her backing dancer Tre Holloway in 2012.
They spent 14 months having a whirlwind relationship, and were regular fixtures on the celeb scene in London and LA, where they were regularly papped enjoying romantic date nights.
However, they split due to the pressures of maintaining a long-distance love - and were both unwilling to move abroad for the other.
At the time, a source told The Sun: “It was a mutual decision so there’s no bad feelings. They want to remain good friends.”
And confirmation it seemed amicable came from Tre himself, when he posted a series of tweets praising his ex and thanking her 'soldiers' for their support following the split.
Tre is still living in LA and his Instagram page, which has 4,800 followers, shows him travelling with his friends to locations such as Bali and Niagara Falls and posing with a dance troupe after appearing on Good Morning America.
In 2014, it was rumoured that Cheryl was getting close to best pal Kimberley Walsh's brother Adam, following her split from Tre.
They were spotted leaving London celeb haunt The Box together in summer 2014, and a source said they had been on a few dates.
"They’ve always got on well, but previously Adam had lived up in Yorkshire and their paths have gone in different directions.
“Now he’s based in London and she’s back in town a lot ahead of going back to The X Factor panel, so things just seem to be falling into place," added the insider.
It appears Adam may have been the one who got away, as they have reportedly been close for years.
Speaking in 2003, Cheryl said: "I feel really homesick at the moment but it’s been helped since I met Kimberley’s brother. We’d never met before but we just clicked and everything’s going great.
“He’s like the male version of me and we’re getting along just fine. Although he’s living in Yorkshire and I’m always on the road, it hasn’t been too much of a nightmare to see him.”
However, following her dates with Adam she entered into a whirlwind three-month relationship with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, marrying him in July that year.
They split in late 2015 and later divorced, with Cheryl going on to date Liam Payne in early 2016 and having their son Bear on 22 March 2017.
Following her split with Liam in July, it was reported that Cheryl's friends were trying to encourage her to give Adam another go.
However, Cheryl now wants to focus on being single, telling singer Jessie Ware on her podcast Table Matters that "it's [dating] not happening anymore. It's the end."
"I know what I want in life, but in the romantic area, I am not as evolved."
