Dermot O’Leary dreading Christmas gift from Simon Cowell after last year’s present was a huge picture of himself
X FACTOR host Dermot O'Leary is dreading get a Christmas present from Simon Cowell - after the music mogul got him a framed photo of HIMSELF last year.
Dermot has admitted his wife Dee has been left red-faced by him putting the picture up in their home.

It comes after the music mogul also gave him botox vouchers as a pressie - seconds before he was due to go on air.
He said: "He gives me nonsense things, like pictures of himself set in beautiful silver frames.
"I have two of them up at home.
“But when we had a decorator round, Dee was like 'Take Simon down. Do you have any idea how that looks if people don't know it's a joke?'”

Last year the presenter told of Simon’s other weird festive present.
Dermot revealed: “Simon did once give me Botox vouchers for Christmas 30 seconds before we were due on air. I politely declined.
"That was a test of keeping your composure. I opened the envelope and went, 'Eh?', then had to go on."

With the shoe on the other foot, Dermot says it is "hard to buy Simon a Christmas present" but he is planning to give him is a copy of his new kids' book Toto The Ninja Cat And The Incredible Cheese Heist.
He said: "Simon's son Eric is an absolute legend. He comes on set with us and he's such a sweetheart. He's four now and a good little boy.
"I'll be giving him a copy of my new book, of course. He enjoyed the last one – well, his daddy said he did.

"I don't expect Simon to read it to him – I think his bedtime story is before Simon gets up."
Dermot has previously told how Simon begged him to return to the X Factor after replacing him with Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
In 2016 he told Dermot: “I’ve made a mistake, I’d love to get you back.”
