Emmerdale spoilers: Robert Sugden and Nicola King join forces and scheme to take Home James back from Graham Foster

Robert was forced to hand the haulage firm to Graham and Joe Tate earlier this year

ROBERT Sugden joins up with very unlikely ally Nicola King in Emmerdale next week as the pair plot to take control of the haulage firm back from Graham Foster.

With husband Jimmy King away on a haulage job, Nicola is struggling with child care and is surprised when Robert - played by Ryan Hawley - offers up his services.

Robert’s husband Aaron Dingle is also away with baby Seb White and Nicola – Nicola Wheeler - realises that Robert is missing his son.

As they chat they come up with a way to solve both their money problems and come up with a scheme together.

With Nicola’s help, Robert will try and get back control of the haulage from Graham Foster – former Downton Abbey star Andrew Scarborough.

They prepare the paperwork together with the intention of tricking Graham into signing it.

The scheming duo let themselves into Home Farm and call out for Graham and are shocked to find him passed out drunk on the sofa.

This suits them just fine and they have no problem getting the sloshed alcoholic to sign the business away.

But as he does, Nicola seems worried. Is she in on the plan or is she getting cold feet about the whole thing?

Fans of the ITV soap know that Graham and his former friend – the now deceased Joe Tate – took control of the haulage business earlier this year when Robert was forced to hand his share over to Joe in return for £100k when Aaron was kidnapped and held for ransom.
