Inside Rachel Stevens’ incredible home as she sells it for £1.6m after marriage split
S CLUB 7’s Rachel Stevens and her ex-husband Alex Bourne have sold their family home in North London.
The former couple reportedly earned £300,000 profit after selling it for £1.6 million.
The 45-year-old was clearly a fan of sleek, minimal interiors as her sitting room featured a soothing soft terracotta colour on the walls, which offset her white feature and black fireplace perfectly.
The monochrome theme continued in her landing with bright white walls, a stylish black and white carpet and then a full-length mirror, perfect for capturing her fashion selfies for Instagram.
Moving into her kitchen, the open-plan room featured cream and black cabinets, complementing cream sofa and a sprinkling of greenhouse plants to add a splash of colour.
While the majority of her ex-home stuck to a strict monochrome palette, Rachel stepped out of her interior comfort zone to decorate her bathroom with a statement green leaf wallpaper, navy wooden panelling and gold details.
Heading upstairs, Rachel previously gave fans a glimpse of her bedroom that followed a serene vibe with light-coloured walls, off-grey wooden wardrobes and a Scandi-inspired vanity.
Rachel and her ex-husband moved into the home three years earlier, paying £1.3 million.
The property came with an en suite, master bedroom, large lawned garden and three reception rooms.
Rachel announced her split from her childhood sweetheart in July after 12 years of marriage.
Sharing the sad news on Instagram Stories, she wrote: “I just wanted to share with you all that after time and consideration the difficult decision has been made for Alex and I to separate.
“While we are no longer partners in marriage, we will remain partners in parenthood to our beautiful girls and continue with love and respect for each other.
“I feel so incredibly grateful for the life we built together and will now continue to be focused on moving forward united as a family.’
Rachel and Alex share two children, Amelie, 12, and Minnie, nine.”
