Beyonce cuts ties with Sir Philip Green after harassment claims and buys out his share of her Ivy Park clothing brand

BEYONCE has cut ties with Sir Philip Green after a series of harassment allegations were levelled against him.
In a statement her company Parkwood confirmed they had bought out his share in her Ivy Park clothing, which she launched alongside Topshop in 2016.
Over the past few weeks, Beyonce has come under increased pressure from her fans to disassociate herself with the tycoon.
He was named in the Lords last month as the businessman at the centre of a series of bullying and harassment allegations but has vehemently denied the claims.
In a statement given to , a representative for Beyonce’s Parkwood company said: “After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 per cent of the Ivy Park brand.
“Topshop/Arcadia will fulfil the existing orders.”
When she launched Ivy Park alongside Topshop, Beyonce said: “I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking.”
She later helped him open the chain’s flagship store in New York.
Beyonce said of the popular range: “My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear.”
Beyonce’s fans will no doubt rejoice at the news as they put pressure on her to cut her ties with the tycoon.
It comes just days after The Sun exclusively revealed how Simon Cowell had also severed ties with the businessman.
Simon explained: “He was part of the company but three years ago we just stopped talking.

“When it came to severing the ties, I wasn’t arguing about the money. You simply make a decision of who you want in your life and your business and it was my decision.”
Cowell insisted he cut contact before Green was criticised for his controversial sale of BHS.
He added: “It was six months before that. Then, roughly a year and a half ago, there was a meeting to see whether he would be interested in selling his shares. It didn’t appear that way. Then, your article came about and then shortly after it was done.”
