I’m A Celebrity stars John Barrowman, Sair Khan, Rita Simons and James McVey film their first scenes for the show two days before series launches
THE I'M A Celebrity stars have filmed the scenes in which they jump out of a helicopter and into camp ahead of the start of the show this weekend.
Each year, some of the stars leap from a great height and parachute into their temporary jungle home while the rest trek in.
In pictures taken at the Springbrook National Park in Queensland, Australia, where the ITV show is filmed, four of this year’s jungle contestants, The Vamps lead guitarist James McVey, 24, Coronation Street Sair Khan, 30, former EastEnders actress Rita Simons, 41, and actor John Barrowman, 51, can be seen running up to the aircraft ahead of the series start this Sunday.
The four, likely nervous, famous faces will jump 10,000ft to the ground but fans of the show will have to wait until the launch episode to see if they are brave enough to go through with it.
In behind-the-scenes pictures, John can be seen jogging towards the helicopter in a blue shirt and blue floral suit trousers, while Sair sports a green romper.
Rita shows off her pink hair whilst wearing a black outfit and James wears a white shirt and blue tracksuit bottoms.

All four stars later change into bright coloured jumpsuits as they prepare to throw themselves out of the helicopter as part of a tandem jump.
The celebs will later be met in camp by a number of other recognisable faces including television presenter Noel Edmonds, 69, The Chase “Governess” Anne Hegerty, 60, The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, 28, 2014 X Factor runner-up Fleur East, 31, football legend Harry Redknapp, 71, TV host Nick Knowles, 56, Hollyoaks star Malique Thompson-Dwyer, 20.
On the first day this year, the contestants will be challenged to win a spot in the superior main camp or risk being sent to the basic Snake Rock site where they will live on basic rations for the first few days.
Not only will the losers be hungry, they will also have to sleep on the floor with nothing but a ground mat.
Senior show editor Olly Nash said: "We have got our biggest walk-in this year so the camp will be divided into two for the first few days, so there will be a winners' camp Croc Creek and a losers' camp snake Rock with rice and beans sleeping on the floor.
"Walk-in has a number of events to choose your team and then they will go head-to-head in a race.
"Snake Rock will be very basic this year, last year it was a positive place to be. This time they are sleeping on the floor with ground sheets. And just a very small portion of rice and beans.
"If you end up in Snake Rock there will be more horrors to await you and those in the main camp will have it easy."
He hinted at the show's usual exciting stunts in the opening episode and said: "You can be pretty sure you are going to get parachute jumps and height challenges when they go in, those universal fears to test them with."
The show this year will be hosted by Declan Donnelly and This Morning's Holly Willoughby while usual co-host Ant McPartlin takes time out to deal with his personal issues.
And Holly will be honouring her pal Ant by always staying on the viewers’ left when she presents with Dec, just like he would do.
She has been welcomed into the I'm a Celeb family with a new picture revealing her name on the back of a chair on set.
But she may struggle Down Under as Holly is “more terrified of jungle critters than all the stars,” according to Bob The Medic.
The doctor has revealed Holly is already a nervous wreck before the show has even started.
Holly has been out in Australia for rehearsals and Bob McCarron has been working with Holly as well as the contestants and he's convinced she's the biggest scaredy cat of the lot.
He told the Mirror: "Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together, I’m not joking.
