Little Mix fans baffled as band appear on Children In Need as a three-piece without Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Mass confusion breaks out as the group fail to explain where their absent bandmate has got to
LITTLE Mix fans were left bewildered when the girls went on Children In Need as a three-piece - without Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
The 27-year-old was nowhere to be seen during a stunt where they surprised a charity worker, with the group being comprised of only Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall.
So where was Leigh-Anne? Did she oversleep? Was she lost backstage? Had she run off with Pudsey Bear?
There was not a word of explanation from the girls about why they were one short.
And fans were not shy about demanding answers, with the group's legions of fans tweeting about their confusion.
One asked: "How come @LittleMix Leigh-Anne isn’t on children in need but the other 3 are? Where’s Leigh-Anne??? 💖💖💖"
Another puzzled: "Am I missing something? Why is #childreninneed2018 pretending Leigh Anne isn't in Little Mix?"
A third suggested: "Massive f**k up on children in need thinking little mix has only three members and forgetting Leigh-Anne😂"
The trio were on the show to surprise a Little Mix fan whose organisation has been helped by Children In Need cash, creeping up on her while she was singing their song Touch and joining in.
Kirsty, from not-for-profit arts group Green Shoe Arts, didn't notice when the curtain behind her lifted during her performance of Touch for what she thought was a charity promo.
The three girls walked up to join her performance, making her gasp with shock.
Once she's recovered, she finished the song and they all shared a hug.
Alarmingly, the last time Little Mix performed without Leigh-Anne was because she's burnt herself before the show.
Perrie, Jesy and Jade took to the stage Honda Center in California, before Leigh-Anne tottered on with bandages on her legs to perform one song.
Since they won The X Factor in 2011, the quartet have had phenomenal, world-wide success.
The band, who recently split from Simon Cowell’s label Syco, recently hit out at men who "think they know everything".
Perrie explained: "Men who’ve been in the game for years, who think they know everything.
"Their experience isn’t totally invalid but when four women have an opinion on something it’s looked at like 'really?'"
