Coronation Street Spoilers: Gina Seddon schemes to break up Sally and Tim Metcalfe’s marriage

ONE of Coronation Street’s strongest marriages is pushed to breaking point next week when Gina Seddon starts meddling in Sally and Tim Metcalfe’s relationship.

Fans of the ITV soap know that Gina  - played by Connie Hyde – has been secretly harbouring feelings for her sister’s husband and has actually enjoyed playing happy families with him while Sally has been held on remand.

But when Gina takes the stand to act as a character witness for Sally, how far will she go to try and get her claws into Tim?

Meanwhile Tim – Joe Duttine- is left feeling stupid when, after hearing all the evidence at Sally’s trial, he convinces himself that Sally was having an affair with Duncan Radfield.

Sally is devastated and Tim confides in Gina that he feels like an idiot for believing that Sally didn’t have an affair.

Later, Sally – Cobbles legend Sally Dyvenor - tells Gina that she can’t bear the thought of Tim thinking she’s a cheat and a liar.

Gina tells Tim that she’s going to move out and is secretly pleased when he tells her he doesn’t want her to leave.

Gina then lies to Sally and tells her that Tim doesn’t want to talk to her, leaving Sally feeling even more heartbroken.

When Sally’s daughter Sophie Webster offers to try to talk Tim round, Gina quickly has to stamp on her plan.

Sophie confronts Tim in the café though and tells him how desperate Sally is to talk to him, leaving Tim confused as he says Gina told him the opposite.

Tim decides to talk to Sally and Sally tells Gina how pleased she is that he’s coming round.

But Gina then tells Sally she shouldn’t meet with him yet as he’s still too angry with her.

Unaware of Gina’s interfering, Tim is gutted when Sally cancels their meeting.
