I’m A Celebrity’s Noel Edmonds spotted in Australia for first time as he prepares to enter the jungle as the final campmate
I'M A Celebrity's Noel Edmonds has been spotted in Australia for the first time as he prepares to enter the jungle as the final campmate.
The Deal Or No Deal host, 69, will be a late entry into the camp and he's still enjoying hotel living before joining the other contestants.
The Sun Online can reveal that Noel is happily shacked up in a luxury five star resort on Australia's Gold Coast after jetting Down Under.
Our exclusive picture shows the telly veteran enjoying the facilities at the Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast, close to the famed Palazzo Versace hotel where the stars of the show are usually put up.
Noel was enjoying a nice meal and appeared to be making the most of the proper food at the hotel before he gets stuck into rice and beans in camp.
It comes after we revealed that I'm A Celebrity bosses had scrapped plans to bring in a second secret campmate alongside Noel after they splashed out £600,000 on his fee.
The move reduces the total number of contestants from 12 to 11 for the first time since 2007.
An ITV source said: “Bosses for I’m A Celebrity spent so much on signing Noel for the show that there’s only 11 contestants planned this year.
“They have really pushed the boat out and splashed the cash more than ever before – meaning a change to the format had to be made.
“Harry Redknapp and Noel cost over £1million between the two of them and they’ve spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too.”

Noel will arrive late into the camp where he will join the likes of X Factor singer Fleur East, EastEnders star Rita and Chase baroness Anne.
Speculation was rife that Megan McKenna was joining the line-up after she was pictured sunning herself in Australia.
But the reality star had flown over to appear on the Extra Camp panel with hosts Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Swash and Joel Dommettt.
Love Island star Olivia Attwood is also set to join Scarlett and co on the spin-off show this week.
