Reading and Leeds Festival 2019 headliners & tickets: Foo Fighters, Post Malone and the 1975 all confirmed to play next summer
The festival will announce the full line-up on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show later this evening
Reading and Leeds Festival has announced huge acts Foo Fighters, The 1975, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots as its 2019 headliners.
The festival will once again be held at Richfield Park and Bramham Avenue over the August Bank Holiday weekend - with tickets set to go on sale in just two days' time.
Blossoms, Pale Waves and Bastille are among the other big names on the bill.
The headliners were confirmed by Greg James on BBC Radio 1 earlier this morning.
The full line-up will be unveiled on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show later today.
Legendary rock band Foo Fighters will close Reading on Sunday, while The 1975 will warm the headline slot on Friday night.
Twenty One Pilots will likely be Saturday's penultimate act before American rapper Post Malone, though the order has not yet been confirmed.
Once again the line-up has divided fans with some branding it the "worst to date", while others have called it the "best in years".
One ranted: "What a load of sh***. Literally 2 good bands announced."
Another slammed: "Gotta be the worst R&L line-up to date."
However, there were plenty who disagreed and praised festival-makers for pulling a quality line-up out of the bag.
