I’m A Celebrity hopeful Emily Atack has revealed she was bullied at school for knowing Paul McCartney and branded a slapper for wearing make-up
EMILY Atack has revealed she was bullied at school and branded a slapper because she wore make-up.
The Inbetweeners actress, 28, said she was also targeted for showing off about being related to Sir Paul McCartney, who is her grandmother’s cousin.
Emily said she discovered make-up early because she came from a family of actors and musicians.
She added: “I looked different, so I was an easy target.
“I wore make-up and fake tan so everyone called me a slapper and worse, even though I was really nice to everyone.
“I was also accused of showing off about my family, which wasn’t true.
“It really knocked my confidence and it’s taken me until now to recover.
“Maybe that’s why I carry a need to be liked with me.”
