I’M A Celebrity star Emily Atack has revealed to jungle camp mates that she has been told to lose weight if she wants to land Hollywood roles.
The actress admits she struggles with her size.
Emily, who also has a 34D chest, said: “There have been auditions where they’ve said nicely, ‘Would you be willing to go to the gym for this role?’, I find it so hard to lose weight, it takes me weeks and weeks of dieting and training just to lose three pounds.”
She had hoped to find success across the Atlantic after playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe in TV hit The Inbetweeners alongside James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Simon Bird.
But she fears her battle with weight is holding her back.
Before entering the jungle, Emily, 28, said: “I’m on camera all the time so being body confident is important.
"I’m a believer in feeling good in your skin so I put bikini pics on my Instagram.
“I definitely feel the pressure to lose weight and be smaller than I am. I wouldn’t leave the house without my make-up on.
“In a normal world I would be happy with my body, but in the film industry it’s pressurised.
"I would like to see curvier women playing lead roles, I got a lot of sexy roles when I was younger.
“My issue is that I love eating and I love wine. Going out for dinner and drinking wine with my friends is my favourite thing to do.
“There are some weeks that I think, ‘I should lay off the wine this week because I’ve got a film premiere’.
"Ultimately I will never cut anything out of my life that makes me happy.”

“I’ve got a personal trainer and I go two or three times and I think that’s a healthy amount.
“There was a point when I was working out every single day, because it makes me feel good. I hate it with a passion, but I feel great afterwards.
"It’s important for my mental health too.
“If casting directors are looking for someone thinner they will just cast someone thinner. That’s the sad truth.”
