Hugh Jackman fans delighted as actor reveals he will perform hits from The Greatest Showman on debut world tour

HUGH Jackman fans were today delighted when he revealed he was heading out on his debut world tour.
The actor, 50, who is an accomplished singer, will perform songs from his hit movie The Greatest Showman.
The Golden Globe-winning actor, who portrayed American showman PT Barnum in the box office smash, will play four UK dates backed by a full orchestra in May and June next year.
He made the announcement on Instagram and his fans went wild for the news.
One said: "This is so awesome!"
This one couldn't contain their excitement: "Nice work Hugh Jackman. Your my favourite singer and actor. Thank you for the childhood you gave me."
While another exclaimed: "I want a ticket now!"
Entitled The Man. The Music. The Show., the tour will see Hugh also perform well-loved tunes from Les Miserables as well as Broadway classics.
Hugh will perform in Manchester and Birmingham before appearing for two nights at London’s O2 Arena.
The Greatest Showman movie was a box office success in 2017 and its soundtrack remains in the UK album top five nearly a year after its release.
In both the UK and America it reached multi-platinum status, selling more than two million copies apiece.
Hugh’s musical credits include playing 1970s singer-songwriter Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz at the Imperial Theatre on Broadway and the 2014 film Les Miserables.
The tickets will go on sale NEXT FRIDAY on December 7, 2018, at 9 am.
